Page 3 of 4: Drill 3

Here you will be making and reviewing short recordings of your voice. Refer back to the instructions page if you need to. It is a waste of time to try and do this drill here without a microphone.

  1. Play Drill 3. The pc will say, "I wish I hadn't cried so much".

  2. Start recording. Deliberately do the wrong thing here, namely give a full acknowledgement that tells the pc you have heard and understood what he said, and that ends the cycle of communication. Maybe say, "Well, all right" with finality.

  3. Close out the movie for Drill 3.

  4. After listening to the recording you just made, click the option under "My student/auditor actions" that best describes what you just heard in your recording, in this case, "I gave an ack that ended cycle".

  5. Note the flunk and close out that movie.

  6. Repeat the above steps if needed.
