One important part of TR-3 is bull-baiting. TR-0 Bullbait has the pc bullbaiting the auditor while he just sits there unmoving and unreacting. In TR-3, the student is bullbaited while giving commands. This is not usually as extensive as in TR-0 Bullbait, it being assumed that the student has pretty much flattened off all his buttons already. But it must be done, for two reasons. One is to pick up those buttons that may have been missed for some reason. The other is that some buttons may react differently while the student is talking to when he is silent and unmoving. For example, the student may be embarrassed about the way he speaks.

The drill here will be similar to the coaching drills on TR-0 BB. You will be bullbaiting aloud an image of the student in a movie. The student will give "Do fish swim?" commands, and will occasionally crack up in giving the command or the repeat statement. The number of repeats it will take to flatten the button will vary. As before, just keep repeating whatever you were saying before when the student lost it, until he no longer reacts.

There will be several drills. In each movie, the student will either be acting as if you have answered the question, or you have not answered the question. There will only be the one kind of action in any one movie.

In terms of being graded on your coaching, you are on your own for this one.

  1. Click on "Item 1". Start bullbaiting the student. At some point in the movie, he will "react" to your bullbaiting. Flunk him aloud for reacting: "Flunk! You cracked up" (or whatever). "Start!" Repeat the actions you were doing just before he cracked up. He will react again. Flunk him again. Keep doing this until he no longer reacts. Then bullbait him on something else.

  2. He may or may not react again in the same movie. When you get to the end of that movie, go on to the next one, Item 2.

  3. Go through all the movies similarly.
